In January-June 2019, foreign trade operations of Azerbaijan increased by 27.6 percent compared to the same period of 2018, and reached $16.994 billion, Trend reports referring to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
Exports increased by 15.2 percent and reached $9.979 billion, compared to the same period of 2018. Most of all, Azerbaijan exported products to Italy, Turkey, China, India and Germany.

The volume of imports compared to the same period of 2018 increased by 50.5 percent and amounted to $7.015 billion. Most of all, Azerbaijan imported products from Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, China and the US.
