In January-June 2019, 99 companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey, which is 12 companies more compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports referring to Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in Turkey in the first six months of 2019 amounted to 14.268 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 33.191 million Turkish liras.
In January-June 2019, most of all Azerbaijani companies were registered in Istanbul (79 companies) and their total capital amounted to 12.732 million Turkish liras.
During the reported period, eight companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in the province of Antalya and the total capital of them amounted to 1 million liras.
In January-June 2019, 3 mining, 11 industrial, 11 construction, 47 wholesale and retail companies, six tourism and one financial-insurance company with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey. The remaining 30 registered companies with Azerbaijani capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The total capital of 47 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 7.563 million liras.
