Chinese company seeks more agreements with Iranian partners

The Chinese company SEE-PLUS seeks to expand cooperation with Iranian companies by reviewing opportunities in the Elecomp exhibition in Tehran.

Johnny Wong, Sales Executive at SEE-PLUS Export and Import Department, spoke the company's activities in an interview with Trend.

"The company is actively involved in Switches and Jacks production for almost 40 years. While this is the first time that See-Plus is attending the Elecomp exhibition in Iran, we have cooperated with Iranian partners for almost five years," he noted.

The SEE-PLUS was established in 1980 to manufacture different kinds of Low-Voltage Switches, Jacks, Sockets and USB connectors. The company's head office is based in Hong Kong, and it has offices in Dongguan and Shanghai, China.

"We have contracts with private enterprises, and we came to the exhibition with the purpose to to sign more agreements with Iran and assess the situation," said Wong speaking about the company's objective in attending the event.

However, the See-Plus Sales Executive refused to reveal names of the signatory Iranian companies. "In the past five years, our trade volume with Iran amounted to $22 million, which included import of our products to Iran," he indicated.

The 25th Iran International Electronic, Computer & E-Commerce Exhibition (Elecomp) was held in Tehran on July 18-21 under the slogan of "Better Future". The four day exhibition is the greatest commercial event in Iran's market of electronics and computer products and services.

In total, 814 foreign and domestic companies attended the exhibition. Some of the foreign companies represented China, Russia and Azerbaijan.

Elecomp was set up in 1995. At the event, players of this sector present their latest achievements in software and hardware. The exhibition provides a unique opportunity to the participants to negotiate possibilities of establishing new business and technological ties to boost their business and increase their share of this huge and constantly growing market.
