Kazakhstan to establish trade offices in 8 more countries

Kazakhstan will open additional trade offices in Turkey, India, Iran, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Poland, Czech Republic and a number of offices in China, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov said, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the ministry.

According to him, foreign trade offices of Kazakhstan will be ‘external offices’ of QazTrade, which is a single window for Kazakh exporters.

QazTrade is to become an agent between exporters and state authorities. Sultanov noted that lobbyists will work in the office of QazTrade to promote Kazakh goods to foreign markets.

The roadmap for promotion of non-commodity goods and services export has been approved in Kazakhstan.

The roadmap oversees lower rates of lending to small and medium business in the area of mechanical engineering, provision of large ventures of processing industry with subsidizing of interest rates, creation of warehouses in foreign countries and mutual recognition of standards and technical requirements to construction services with countries of prioritized or high interest.

Furthermore, the prioritized market for Kazakhstan’s export, in order to expand export destinations will be countries of Central Asia, Russia and China.
