Amount of weekly transactions on Uzbek Commodity Exchange exceeds 1 trillion soums

The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from September 16 to 22, 2019, amounted to 1.035 trillion soums, which is 4 percent more than the previous week’s indicator, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.

The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private enterprises amounted to 446 billion soums, with an increase of 8.5 percent.

The volume of exchange trading on the platform increased from 894.6 to 896.9 billion soums.

At the foreign exchange trading platform, goods worth $ 3.3 million were sold, which is twice as much as a week earlier.

In the export structure, the share of polyethylene was 46 percent, liquefied gas - 24 percent, cotton fiber - 12 percent, petroleum oils of various grades amounted to 9 percent and other products - 9 percent.

The volume of exhibition and fair trade last week amounted to 40.3 billion soums, with an increase of 34.7 percent.

The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to 18.2 billion soums, or 45.2 percent of the total amount of transactions.

Last week, transactions worth 67.3 billion soums were concluded through xarid.uz, a special information portal on public procurement.

The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded 94.9 billion soums.

During the period under review, 712 car license plates were sold through an online auction.

The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about 3.4 billion soums.

As a result of competitive bidding, 20.4 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 44.1 percent of deals on category 2 and 35.5 percent on category 3 of license plates.
