Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan amounted to $97 million during nine months of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan's LS news agency.
Kazakhstan's export during the reporting period amounted to $79.2 million, which indicates an increase of 45 percent compared to the same period of last year.
For the most part, Kazakhstan is supplying wheat, flour, noodles, industrial equipment, ferrous metals products and barium sulfate to Turkmenistan.
In turn, value of Turkmenistan's export was $17.8 million during the reporting period, which indicates an increase by 2.3 times.
Kazakhstan imports vegetables, textile products, polyethylene and lubricating oils from Turkmenistan.
