Capital of Iran Khodro Industrial Group has increased by almost 2000 percent, Trend reports referring to the company.
According to the report, the capital increased from 15.3 trillion rials (about $364 million) to 301.6 quadrillion rials (about $7.18 billion).
Capital has been increased to reform the financial structure of the company.
As expected, the capital increase shall contribute expansion of the company operations and development in the next years.
Executive Director of Iran Khodro Industrial Group Farshad Moghimi said that the increase in capital on the eve of the company's 59th anniversary has been a major boost to the development of the Iran Khodro industrial group.
According to Moghimi, the company will return to its leading position by adopting new programs.
Iran Khodro Industrial Group is one of the two major automotive companies in Iran. The other company is Saipa Automaker Company.
Iran Khodro Industrial Group has produced more than 286,000 cars in 11 months of this Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to February 19, 2020).
