Atena LLC, Azerbaijan’s dairy company located in Agjabadi district, has announced timeline for development of a new production line of dairy products, a source in the company told Trend.
According to the source, it’s about the development of new types of fruit yoghurts.
“Experience shows that these products are in demand in the domestic market, and sales are fully within the specified terms of use. Accordingly, the products are not refundable, which creates an additional incentive for specialists and technologists to expand the assortment of this type of dairy products. The development of new types of products will begin in the summer of 2020. Moreover, the company plans to expand the production line of ayran (refreshing drink made from milk), which is in the greatest demand in summer. It is expected to develop at least two types of ayran, with and without greens,” said the source.
“Since the beginning of 2020, the production of dairy products has increased by 20 percent compared to 2019. It’s planned to increase the production of milk and dairy products by 40 percent by the end of 2020,” the source noted.
“Every day, the company produces over 55 tons of milk. By the end of the year, it is planned to increase this figure to 65 percent and above,” the source added.
The production facilities of Atena LLC are located in Agjabadi city.
The company has its own farm and land.
