TEHRAN, Iran, June 10
Trend:
Iranian government has developed employment database both on workers and production units, said Managing Director of employment office at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
"The national occupation information system has been designed for employment data on all employees and people over age of 15," said Hossein Mahmoudi Sefid Kouhi, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
"Individuals that reach the working age can submit their details including information about their education and qualification into the system, and it will be provided to the institutes that seek to hire workforce," he added. "It is expected that data from 65 million Iranians in the working age group will be collected via the system."
"The government has approved plan to provide advances to businesses that have been closed or harmed by coronavirus spread but so far no data has been collected," the managing director added. "If there was a data bank, we could easily find out how many businesses were closed or how many workers lost jobs due to the coronavirus, and a database can play effective role in this regard."
"The system has been connected to the National Organization for Civil Registration, Social Security Organization, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the Administrative and Recruitment Affairs Organization, and the Health Ministry," he said.
