Kazakhstan is interested in further increasing trade turnover with Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan told Trend.
"Kazakhstan is ready to supply a wide range of agricultural and industrial products to Turkmenistan," the ministry added.
The ministry noted that there are great prospects for developing cross-border cooperation between the two countries.
In general, the cooperation between the countries is also deepening in the trade and economic sphere, the ministry added.
"The conclusion of the strategic partnership agreement between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in 2017 opened up broad prospects for expanding the potential of bilateral cooperation," the Kazakh Foreign Ministry noted.
The countries also cooperate in political and cultural spheres.
"Mutual visits of delegations of the two countries at the highest levels, which takes place regularly, are an indicator of both parties' willingness to develop strategic relations, " the Kazakh MFA noted.
