The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has announced a regular auction for the sale of 31 state-owned objects, Trend reports with reference to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
According to the information, the auction will take place on September 16, 2021 in the building of the Ministry of Finance.
It is reported that the objects of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank, Turkmengaz State Concern, Turkmenhaly State Association, the mayor's office of Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary regions.
Citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign states, as well as non-state legal entities of Turkmenistan and other countries, who have submitted an application in the prescribed form, have made a deposit and a special fee, and have passed registration for participation in the auction, are allowed to participate in the auction in accordance with the procedure established by law.
Foreign legal entities, international organizations established in accordance with the legislation of foreign states, their permanent missions and branches in Turkmenistan can participate in the denationalization and privatization of state property only if there is an opinion of the Agency for the Protection of the Economy from Risks under the Ministry.
Acceptance of applications and registration of participants is carried out by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan from the date of publication of the announcement of the auction and ends 24 hours before the start of the auction. Registration of participants begins on the day of the auction at 9:00 (GMT + 5).
Consultations on the procedure for participating in the auction and additional information on privatization objects can be obtained from the department of property relations and support of entrepreneurship of the Ministry and specialized departments of the department of finance and economy of the regions and the city of Ashgabat.
