BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. ADB is currently preparing a Country Partnership Strategy for Kazakhstan for the period 2023-2027, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) told Trend.
The ADB noted that in the face of economic sanctions and their possible influence on Kazakh economy, ADB’s operations in Kazakhstan respond to major development challenges, which not only remain relevant but also becoming more acute – reducing income and spatial inequalities, lowering country’s dependence on commodity sector, and ensuring sustainable and climate-resilient economy.
“We provide development finance, knowledge products and expertise to both government and private sector clients in pursuit of these challenges. ADB is currently preparing a Country Partnership Strategy for Kazakhstan for the period 2023-2027. It will define the parameters of ADB’s strategic and operational assistance for Kazakhstan in the context of both, the country’s national development strategy and needs, and ADB’s own corporate strategic framework,” the Bank said.
