BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 4. Iran's non-oil exports increased by 19 percent in value and 2 percent in volume, since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 to January 1, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
In total, Iran's non-oil exports for the reporting period amounted to 97.8 million tons worth over $43 billion.
Iran mainly exported liquefied natural gas (LNG) worth $6.78 billion, liquid propane worth $3.11 billion, methanol worth $1.87 billion, liquid butane worth $1.82 billion and polyethylene worth $1.36 billion.
Within the mentioned period, Iran exported products worth about $11.9 billion to China, $8.63 billion to Iraq, $6.42 billion to Türkiye, $4.6 billion to the UAE and $1.47 billion to India.
Iran also exported goods worth $869 million to Oman, $647 million to Indonesia, $563 million to Russia, $529 million to Azerbaijan, $526 million to Thailand, $350 million to Turkmenistan, $282 million to the Republic of South Africa, $208 million to Uzbekistan, $187 million to Singapore, $184 million to Syria, $165 million to Kuwait, $144 million to Ghana, $142 million to Sudan, $111 million to Myanmar, $104 million to Qatar.
Meanwhile, the value of Iran's total non-oil trade turnover for the reporting period amounted to $87.4 billion. Trade turnover increased by 17 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.
