BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. Iran exported 66,600 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $28.2 million to Kazakhstan, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023), Trend reports.
According to the report, the non-oil exports increased by 35 percent in value, while decreasing by 29.1 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last year.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, Iran’s non-oil exports to Kazakhstan stood at 94,000 tons worth about $20.9 million.
Alone in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year (April 21 through May 21, 2023), Iran exported 28,400 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $15.7 million to Kazakhstan.
During 2 months, Iran mainly exported agricultural and food products, tobacco products, petrochemical products and etc. to Kazakhstan.
Overall, Iran exported 21 million tons of non-oil products worth $7.51 billion within the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023).
This is an increase of 12.3 percent in value, while a decrease of 13.7 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last Iranian year.
