CSC TRANSPORTS 5.02M TONS OF CRUDE OIL, OIL PRODUCTS

In January to June 2005 the Caspian Shipping Company (CSC) has transported) 5.02 million tons of oil and oil products against 4. 88 million tons in 2004 (+2.9%), Trend reports.

2,004 million of the total was comprised of oil and oil products delivered from Kazakhstan (1,284 tons in 2004) and 1,404 million tons from Turkmenistan (1,573 million tons in 2004).

In January to June tankers of the CSC supplied 940,900 tons of cargo to other Caspian ports, in particular, Neka and Nowsheher, against 1.43 million tons in 2004, 38,800 tons of oil and oil products in the direction of Russia (Makhachkala) against 0.6 million tons in 2004.

Over the first 5 months of 2005 the vessels of the company delivered 6.7 million tons of cargo against 6.97 million in 2004.
