A draft connected with the return of deposits to the customers is at the President`s Office presently, Ziyad Samadzade, Chairman of the Permanent Commission for Economic & Political Issues of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) stated regarding the returning of money to the customers which was deposited in the Soviet SberBank (savings bank), Trend reports.
He pointed out that the draft is at the President`s Office. The State-run Kapital Bank is engaged in this issue now. The matter concerns the deposits of some 1.9 m. depositors. According to an estimate, $500-600 mln. is required., Mr. Samadzadeh said.
He stated that the draft will also be considered in Parliament. Mr. Samadzadeh pointed out that the percentage of the deposits has not been determined as yet.
