Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / Yuri Shedrin, the trade representative of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan, stated during the international Azerbaijani-Russian trade-economic conference that considering Azerbaijan and Russian economic potential, commodity trade between Azerbaijan and Russia is lower than with other CIS countries.
According to Shedrin, the current level does not correspond to those levels of cooperation, which were achieved, because the countries have considerable reserves.
"There is no investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia," Shedrin said.
"We can reach bilateral cooperation even without energy resources, bringing commodity trade between the countries to 2bln and it is not the limit," Shedrin added.
