Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova /The Association of the Azerbaijani Leasing Companies (AALC) will hold a general meeting with its members in October to discuss the articles of the Civil Code, impeding the development of leasing activities in the country, Natik Zeynalov, the AALC Executive Director said on 30 August.
The decision was made in a meeting held on 29 August. Azerbaijan does not have effective legislation on leasing companies and it is regulated by the Civil Code.
"After the general assembly the Association plans to enter more influential circles to discuss leasing legislation," Zeynalov said.
The Azerbaijani Association of Leasing Companies was founded on 27 October 2004 by the companies Ataleasing, Unileasing, and Muganleasing.
