Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. U.Ismaylova / One of the biggest insurance companies in Azerbaijan MBASK collected premiums in the amount of AZN 6mln during seven months.
About AZN 1.6mln were paid out in insurance claim cases during this period. Some 35% of premiums are paid by corporate clients and 65% by private clients.
Premiums are up 60% from 2006.
The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry reported that MBASK collected AZN 4.46mln premiums during the first six months of 2007.
MBASK has been operating since 1992. The company renders 29 types of insurance services. The authorized capital of the company is AZN 2mln.
