Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 May /corr. Trend E.Ismaylov / The Department of Geophysics and Geology of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has completed preparing equipment in the ships to carry out exploration works on Azerbaijani offshore areas, the Department said on 29 May. Currently the process is continuing to agree and approve the program. The exploration works are planned to be commenced in June-July.
The Department owns- Geophysic-1, Geophysic-2 and Geophysic-3, as well as and Baku ship. Geophysic-1 and Geophysic-3 have been modernized. Baku ship was used by the Caspian Geophisical in Indian ocean and was returned in 2004.
