Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 April / Trend / In January to May 2008 Azerbaijan received 917mln cu.m of gas from the Shan Deniz gas-condensate field, an increase by 2.4% as compared to last year, a source at State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said.
In 2008 Azerbaijan plans to receive 2.9bln cu.m of gas from Shah Deniz.
Currently four wells function on the field. The potential daily production is nearly 22mln cu.m. of gas.
Some 8.6bln cu.m of gas a year will be produced within Stage 1 of Shah Deniz field development project in Plateau Stage.
