Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 3 / Trend / State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Marketing and Economic Operations Department exported over 191,400 tons of oil related products from oil refineries in January 2009 compared to 146,000 tons in January 2007.
In January 2009, fuel oil, bitumen and lubricants were not exported.
Oil products in Azerbaijan are produced at two Baku oil refineries with the total capacity of 20mln tons of oil per year. Both refineries are owned by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), which annually processes over 6 million tons of oil produced in the offshore and onshore fields through its own funds.
