Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approved an action plan within €13 million grant allocated by the European Commission within the program of support for reforms in the energy sector of Azerbaijan, the Cabinet of Ministers said.
The ministry of industry and energy, ministry of economic development, ministry of finance and other agencies are in charge of realizing the plan.
Both local and international specialists can be attracted in realizing the projects.
The main goal of the action plan are: preparing comprehensive and integrated strategy for the energy sector in accordance with market economic principles, using and promoting effectiveness of alternative and renewable energy sources, preparing and implementing an action plan, improving legislation and bringing it into conformity with EU legislation, etc.
