Work is underway and on schedule to construct the 780-megawatt Janub Power Plant, the Azerbaijani Azerenergy reported.
The foundation have already been laid for a computer room and steel structures have also been installed. Gas turbine equipment will also be installed in the coming days.
Underground construction will also soon be prepared in the third and fourth gas turbines. Work is continuing to install the pipes.
Work was also launched to install metal structures on the third and fourth boilers. Metal structures have already been installed on the first and second boilers.
A 330/220/110-Kw closed substation is ready for installation. The final construction work is underway.
The construction of an administrative building and dining room is also nearing completion.
