The Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk shipped about 42.1 million tons of oil in 2010, compared to about 44.5 million tons last year, the port reported.
Over 12.7 million tons of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port oil products were shipped in 2010, compared to about 13.2 million tons in 2009.
A total of 81.6 million tons of various cargo were transported in 2010, compared to 86.52 million tons last year.
SOCAR transships its own oil, as well as oil of joint ventures and operating companies operating in Azerbaijan's onshore fields, through Novorossiysk. SOCAR exported over 2.24 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 2010 compared to 2.5 million in 2009, the company said.
