Oil supply to Kazakh refineries exceeds 4 million tons

The actual oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries amounted to 4.192 million tons in January - March 2011, the Kazakh Statistics Agency's Central Dispatching Administration reported.

The report reads that the oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries hit 938, 200 tons in March, or 8.4 percent less compared to February and 23.3 percent less compared to March 2010.

The volume of imported oil for the Kazakh refineries hit 511,800 tons in March, which occupies 54.6 percent of total shipments, including the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant initially focused on Russian crude oil refining - 249,900 tons.

Kazakhstan has three oil refineries including Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, Shymkent refinery and Atyrau refinery.
