Iran's petrochemicals sold in commodity market increase 72 percent

The value of Iran's petrochemical products traded in commodity market had 72 percent growth in current solar year (started on March 20, 2011), IRNA reported quoting President of the Securities & Exchange Council Mahmoud Ghaffari as saying.

"The volume of petrochemical products trade in current solar year reached more than 792,000 ton and it had 70 percent growth compared to same period of the previous year," he said.

The amount of petrochemical products trade in commodity market was more than $730 million indicating 72 percent growth compared to same period of the last year.

More than 75,000 ton oil products traded in first months of current solar year (started on March 20, 2011), with 56 percent growth reaching $433 million.
