Iran increases gasoline production by 20 million liters

Iran will increase its gasoline production by 20 million liters per day, Pananews reported quoting Deputy Oil Minister Alireza Zeyghami as saying.

"Iran currently produces 50 million liters of gasoline per day and it will rise to 70 million liters per day by increasing production level," he said.

Iran 's super gasoline production capacity will also increase by 7 million liters per day.

The National Iranian Oil Company has 17 development plans on its agenda to construct new refineries and increasing gasoline production.

It's predicted that Iran's average gasoline production will be 55 million liters this year, he added.
