3D geophysical surveys at field Umid and promising structure Babek in the Azerbaijani national sector of the Caspian may begin in March-April next year, a source with the oil and gas market told Trend on Wednesday.
The works will be carried out using geophysical ship Gilavar.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is going to conclude a contract with Caspian Geophysical, which will conduct these works.
"After Caspian Geophysical completes its several projects, approximately in March-April, it may start doing work for the SOCAR," the source reported.
