Oil processing in Kazakhstan hit 1.242 million tons in January, 2012 compared to 1.174 million tons in January, 2011, the national dispatch center of the Kazakh Statistics Agency told Trend on Tuesday.
In January, 2012 oil processing in Kazakhstan was 8.5 percent less than in the previous month and by 7.2 percent more than in January, 2011.
In January, 2012 the production of oil products in Kazakhstan amounted to 1.357 million tons, which is by 2.7 percent less than in the previous month, and by 2.5 percent less than in January, 2011.
The production of motor gasoline amounted to 296,800 tons in January, 2012, the production of diesel oil - to 344,600 tons, aviation kerosene to 38,800 tons, and black oil to 303,800 tons.
