Net profit of JSC Bakielektrikshebeke (distribution and sale of electricity in Baku) amounted to 8.4 million manat at the end of 2011 compared to 16.5 million manat by the end of 2010, the company said.
In turn, the total profit of JSC amounted to 42.88 million manat in 2011 compared to 53.96 million manat by the end of 2010.
Total assets of the company exceeded 963.1 million manat compared to 825.99 million manat as of the beginning of last year.
Long term electric assets increased by 46.9 percent - up to 412.8 million manat and short-term assets increased by 0.96 percent to 550.3 million manat.
General obligations of Bakielektrikshebeke decreased by 7.4 percent during the past year - up to 624.4 million manat. The total amount of capital and reserves at year end amounted to 338.73 million manat, up by 2.2 times. Paid-up capital stock 255.3 million manat with an increase of 3.4 times.
Some 152.96 million manat was spent for investing activities.
