The Russian Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port transshipped 76 million tons of oil in January-August 2012 compared to 74.47 million tons in the same period of 2011, the port's official website reported on Friday.
During the reporting period the port transshipped about 12.3 million tons of oil products compared to 11.84 million tons in January-August 2011.
The port transshipped 107.77 million tons of various cargo in eight months compared to about 103.57 million tons during the same period of 2011.
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transports own oil through this port.
