Kazakhstan plans to decrease oil products import from Russia in 2013, the Oil and Gas Ministry told Interfax-Kazakhstan.
According to an Oil and Gas Ministry representative, Kazakhstan had excessive volumes of oil imported from Russia in 2012. So now the country plans to pass the law which will restrict oil products import. The law is under elaboration.
Earlier Russian newspaper Kommersant reported that Kazakhstan plans to completely ban Russian oil products import for a half year period.
