Turkmenistan auctions over 220,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned over 220,000 tons of finished commodities of two refineries in Turkmenbashi, Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades 80,000 tons of motor gasoline, 10,000 tons of diesel fuel, 50,000 tons of aviation kerosene, over 50,000 tons of liquefied gas, 30,000 tons of straight-run gasoline and 3,000 tons of light gas oil.

Some 56 transactions were registered at the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Companies from Russia, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan bought diesel fuel, liquefied gas, gasoline A-80, base oil, polypropylene and oil coke. The total sum of the contracts on the exchange, including oil products exceeded $132 million.

The representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Denmark, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and other countries are the traditional participants of the auction.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
