About 76,000 tons of polyethylene was produced in Azerbaijan in 2013 which is 13.9 percent more than in the same period of 2012, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said today.
The increase in production was observed in all categories of basic types of chemical products in Azerbaijan in 2013, according to the State Statistics Committee.

Around 27,330 tons of solid polyethylene pipes, tubes and hoses were produced in the country in 2013 which is 0.2 percent more than in 2012. Moreover, about 643 tons of polyurethane plates and strips were produced in the country which is 2.6 percent more than in 2012.
