As of August 15, the daily volume of gas supplied to the population and other consumers in Azerbaijan amounted to 6.286 million cubic meters, Azerigas Production Association, engaged in the distribution and sale of gas in the country, told Trend Aug. 15.
At the end of July, this figure was 7.720 million cubic meters.
Daily gas consumption in Baku on August 15 amounted to 3.987 million cubic meters, in the regions of the country – to 2.299 million cubic meters.
Thus, the demand for gas decreased by 18.58 percent compared to July.
According to Azerigas, the number of gas subscribers in Azerbaijan exceeds 2.1 million.
