Iranian gasoline export through Energy Exchange beats record

The export of Iranian gasoline through the Energy Exchange beat a record last week and exceeded $72 million, Ali Huseyni, Executive Director of the Iran Energy Exchange, said.

Some 110,000 tons of gasoline were sold at the Energy Exchange last week, Huseyni added, Trend reports referring to IRIB.

He added that these oil products were exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan and other neighboring countries.

Last week, 305,000 tons worth 15.2 trillion rials ($361 million according to the official exchange rate and $134.5 million according to the exchange rate in the black market) were sold at the Energy Exchange, Huseyni said.

During the second decade of September, 250,000 tons of oil products, namely, gasoline, liquefied gas, diesel, kerosene will be put up for sale, he added.
