Iran’s Nouri Petrochemical Company in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) produced 2.44 million tons of various products during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020) which is a new record on the production of the company, Trend reports citing the company’s official website.
According to the report, the company's production increased by 26.5 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. Thus, the company produced about 511,000 tons of various products in the same period last Iranian year.
“Thus, the Nouri Petrochemical Company fulfilled its production plan by 114 percent during the reporting period,” the report said.
There was an increase of 6 percent in the company’s p-Xylene production and 11 percent in the benzene production.
Sixty percent of the products produced by Iran's Nouri Petrochemical Company is exported and 40 percent sold on the energy exchange. The company produces 1.2 million tons of p-Xylene, benzene, and p-Xylene and 3.3 million tons of heavy and light hydrocarbons, heavy aromatic, LPG, pentane, and light naphtha products annually.
Furthermore, it produces over 4.7 million tons of fuel per year, 4.5 million tons of which is gas condensate and is supplied from refineries of the South Pars Gas Company.
