Bukhara Oil Refinery and Kimyoviy Texnologiya LLC at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan produced and supplied 7,236 floating pontoons, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, a number of measures are being implemented on behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullaye in order to ensure the implementation of the decree of the president of Uzbekistan on measures to improve the quality of continuous education and the effectiveness of science in the areas of chemistry and biology.
Thus, the specialists of Bukhara Oil Refinery and Kimyoviy Texnologiya LLC successfully loaded 7,236 floating pontoons in RVS 55 during the period from 18 to 19 January this year.
It is noted that the polyethylene terephthalate pontoon of a new structure is designed to eliminate the loss of light hydrocarbons due to the evaporation of oil products and gas condensate during reception, dispensing, storage and extinguishing a sudden fire in tanks.
Uzbekneftegaz reports that such a pontoon is filled with fire-fighting, special foaming solution and inert gas.
The Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan has developed a modernized floating pontoon for reservoirs and received a patent for an industrial design on the topic "Pontoon device for reservoirs."
