Industrial gas inflow was obtained from a new exploration well No. 7 at the Tumaris gas condensate field of the Gazli oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz located in the Romitan district of the Bukhara region, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the information, the Tumaris gas condensate field was discovered in 2018 by drilling the first exploration well. It is reported that 11 exploratory and appraisal production wells have been drilled in the field so far (No. 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- prospecting and exploration wells, No. 10-, 11-, 12-, 13- appraisal wells).
It was noted that geological exploration will be completed at the field and the gas reserves of the field will be determined by the end of 2021.
Currently, 663,000 cubic meters of natural gas and 11.3 tons of condensate are produced at the field from these wells per day.
It is reported that drilling at exploration well No. 7 of the Tumaris gas condensate field of the Gazli oil and gas production department drilling at a depth of 2100 meters has been completed.
After the well was completed on the XV-2 productive layer of the Jurassic period in the interval 1,904-1,908 meters of the well, an industrial gas flow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 70,000 cubic meters.
Also, a number of appraisal and production wells are planned to be drilled in 2021 in accordance with the program of Uzbekneftegaz JSC to increase hydrocarbon production and build production wells.
