Azerbaijan sees decrease in diesel fuel production

Azerbaijan produced about 189,300 tons of diesel fuel in January 2021, which is a decrease of 6.8 percent compared to Jan. 2020, Trend reports citing a report of the country’s State Statistical Committee.

During the mentioned month, the country’s kerosene production volume equaled 29,900 tons, which is 45.8 percent less than in 2020.

As of February 1, 2021, reserves of kerosene amounted to 48,400 tons, diesel fuel – 140,600 tons.

In 2020, the total value of production of petroleum products in Azerbaijan amounted to 3.1 billion manat ($1.82 billion), which is 3.6 percent less than in 2019.

Last year, Azerbaijan produced oil and gas condensate in a volume of 34.5 million tons, which is 7.8 percent less compared to the preceding year.

As of January 1, 2021, the stock of finished oil products amounted to 439,500 tons.
