Two wells have been repaired in Tabnak and Dalan gas fields of the South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC), which is a subsidiary of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), head of the engineering and construction department of the SZOGPC, Ali Montasari said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to Montasari, well No. 14 of Dalan field and No. 1 of Tabnak field were repaired. Due to the repairs were carried out by the company's own specialists, 15 billion rials (about $357,000) was saved.
Montasari added that 4 more wells of the South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company were repaired by the company's specialists in the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021). As a result, 41 billion rials (about $976,000) was saved.
The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company are one of three subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC). The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company currently has 9 gas fields - Aghar, Dalan, Nar, Kangan, Sarkhoon, Tabnak, Homa, Varavi, Shanol and 2 oil fields - Saadatabad and Sarvestan in operation.
The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company extracted 1.09 million barrels of crude oil, 44 billion cubic meters of gas and 42 million cubic meters of gas condensate during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through February 19, 2021).
