Turkmenistan produced more than 14.5 billion cubic meters of natural and associated gas from January through February 2021, which is more than the same period last year by 7.4 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.
Gas exports exceeded 6.7 billion cubic meters, an increase of 9 percent. Thus, the main volume of raw materials was delivered to China.
In the country, the volume of oil production from January through February 2021 amounted to about 1.5 million tons.
Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery manufactured about 310,000 tons of gasoline of various brands, more than 273,000 tons of diesel fuel, more than 13,000 tons of polypropylene, 10,600 tons of lubricating oils during the specified period.
The volume of production of liquefied gas, in the whole country, amounted to more than 28,000 tons.
As reported, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan is developing its industrial potential, transport infrastructure and increasing the export of energy resources.
