Turkmenistan has increased exports of petrochemical products to Georgia by 2.5 times over the 1H2021 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan.
Georgia purchased almost 122,600 tons of motor gasoline and diesel fuel in Turkmenistan in 1H2021, which is 72,300 tons more than in 1H2020.
Turkmenistan exported gasoline and diesel fuel for a total of $ 32 million in 1Q2021. Turkmenistan is the leader in the export of aviation fuel to Georgia.
As reported, in March 2021, 59.2 percent of aviation oil was imported from Turkmenistan (2,900 tons) and 12.2 percent (600 tons) from Italy, 10.2 percent (500 tons) - from Azerbaijan; 10.2 percent (500 tons) - from Russia, 8.2 percent (400 tons) - from Turkey.
