Turkmenistan’s Täze energiýa individual enterprise plans to build a new plant for the production of glass polycrystalline solar panels (insulating glass), head of the company, Nury Khydyrov said during an exhibition in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, Trend reports citing Business Turkmenistan.
According to Khydyrov, the panels of the new generation are able to withstand high humidity and extreme heat.
He also said that at present, land has been purchased in the industrial zone of the city of Anau in the Akhal region to implement the plan.
Täze energiýa has been installing solar modules since 2015. The company is especially popular in remote villages in the Karakum Desert. In distant pastures, green energy is used to automatically feed water from wells, desalinate it and generate electricity.
At Altyn asyr lake, these panels help TM CELL (mobile operator of Turkmenistan) to establish mobile communications.
Täze energiýa the individual enterprise is the first company in Turkmenistan to have a license to manufacture and install solar panels in the country.
