Kazakhstan boosts crude oil output y-o-y

The volume of oil extraction in Kazakhstan amounted to 85.7 million tons from January through December 2021, which is 0.3 percent more than during the same months of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Industrial manufacturing in the country increased by 3.8 percent compared to the reporting period of 2020.

Thus, the manufacturing of copper ore amounted to 124.8 million tons, which is 3.9 percent more compared to the reporting months of 2020. Manufacturing of petrol amounted to 4.8 million tons (increase by 7.3 percent).

Manufacturing of Portland cement was 12.6 million tons, which is 15.4 percent more than during the same period of 2020. Manufacturing of flat metal was 3.1 million tons (increase by 19.2 percent), of diesel fuel to 5 million tons (up by 6.8 percent), of electricity to 114.8 billion kWh (increase by 5.7 percent).

The production of food, beverages, rubber and plastic products, other non-metallic mineral products, chemical and pharmaceutical products, and mechanical engineering increased over the reporting period of 2021 compared to the same period of 2020. In turn, the production of natural gas has decreased.
