BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Azerbaijan exported almost 518,000 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to the Czech Republic from January through April 2023, which is 5.6 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This indicator increased 3.2 times, or by 354.5 million tons, on an annual basis.
The value of the export of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to the Czech Republic in the specified period amounted to $323.3 million. This is 3.6 times, or $234.2 million more compared to the same period of 2022.
Azerbaijan exported about 9.2 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through April 2023, which is 2.6 percent less in comparison with the previous year (9.5 million tons).
The total value of oil exports amounted to more than $5.7 billion, which is 12.7 percent, or $829.5 million less compared to the period from January through April 2022.
