Iran to put up over 200,000 tons of hydrocarbons on sale at IRENEX for June 17

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. More than 201,000 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), on June 17, Trend reports.

Of the mentioned volume, about 185,000 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 6,000 tons of iso recycle, 7,000 tons of iso feed, 85,900 tons of solvent 402, and 84,900 tons of solvent 503 products;

- Tehran Oil Refining Company’s 700 tons of iso recycle and 200 tons of propane products.

Also, 16,100 tons of products will be on sale on the international floor of the IRENEX:

- Iranian Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 10,500 tons of white oil and 5,000 tons of distillation tower residue;

- Kaveh Methanol Company’s 600 tons of methanol products.

Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) amounted to 15.3 trillion rials (about $36.4 million), during the last Iranian week (June 3 through June 7, 2023). This is a decrease of 51.4 percent, compared to the previous week (May 27 through May 31, 2023).

The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.

The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 449,001 rials, and the price of $1 is 413,593 rials.
