State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) closed the tender for sale of 60kt of oil from port Novorossiysk. SOCAR officials told Trend the tender was awarded to Glencore and the load will be shipped July 29-30.
During 2005, SOCAR shipped 1.631mln ton of oil from port Novorossiysk against 2.559mln ton in 2004.
In 2005 Glencore purchased the major part of SOCARs oil in Novorossiysk 557,000 tons, while LUKOIL was the second 464,000 tons.
