The Operating Company Salyan Oil intends to begin drilling the next, fifth exploitation well in the onshore field Kursangi-Garabagli till the end of the year, Trend reports quoting the Company.
The Company faced a number of difficulties in the allotment of the land for drilling. After resolving this question, the Company will begin drilling. The works in this well are intended to be completed till the middle of January 2007.
Earlier, the Company completed drilling the fourth well. According to the representative of SOL, the well was 3,744 meters deep. It was intended to drill 8 wells this year.
